The Maynuo M9812B is a compact, high-precision programmable DC electronic load designed for professional testing of high-voltage DC power supplies, batteries, adapters, LED drivers, and solar cells. It supports CC, CV, CR, and CW operating modes with fast dynamic response up to 25 kHz, a current slew rate of 2.5 A/µs, and dedicated LED test mode up to 500 V.
Overview
The Maynuo M9812B is a programmable DC electronic load with a dedicated LED test mode, purpose-built for testing LED drivers and LED power supplies. Alongside the LED function it offers the four standard operating modes — constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR) and constant power (CW), plus combined CC+CV and CR+CV — with 0.1 mA / 1 mV resolution and up to 0.03% basic accuracy. It lets you qualify a real LED driver the way it behaves in the field, while still serving as a capable general-purpose load for power supplies, batteries and adapters.
A fast dynamic mode (up to 25 kHz, 2.5 A/µs) reproduces real-world transient and load-step conditions, while built-in battery-capacity testing, short-circuit simulation and automatic multi-step test sequences cover everyday R&D and production work. The M9812B is housed in a rugged 19-inch rack-mountable chassis with a bright VFD display, and can be fully remote-controlled over optional RS-232 / RS-485 / USB using the free PC software.

The LED test function
An ordinary electronic load in CC or CR mode often can’t test an LED driver reliably — many drivers detect that they aren’t driving a real LED and shut down or oscillate. The M9812B’s dedicated LED mode uses a special internal circuit to simulate the real voltage–current behaviour of an LED string, so the driver “sees” a genuine LED load and operates normally.
